We have no vendor partnerships to protect and no government sponsor to keep happy. That makes our analysis genuinely independent — and genuinely useful.
Why It Matters
ASEAN technology decisions
are made in the wrong room.
Across the region, major technology deployments are shaped less by technical merit than by incumbent vendor relationships, procurement politics, and the institutional reluctance to contradict a decision already made at the top.
The result is predictable: overpriced platforms that underdeliver, digital transformation programmes that stall at integration, and security architectures built around compliance theatre rather than actual risk.
Most advisory firms will not tell you this. They are too embedded in the ecosystem that produces these outcomes — too reliant on the next engagement from the same vendor, the same ministry, the same procurement cycle.
We are not.

Technology decisions in ASEAN deserve better analysis
The ASEAN digital economy is growing faster than the advisory infrastructure around it. Most regional technology analysis is either produced by vendors with a product to sell, or by global firms with a template built for a different market. Neither serves the CIO at a Singapore GLC or the CISO at a regional bank particularly well. There is a genuine gap for independent, regionally-grounded analysis. That is the gap 2MAGnify exists to fill.
Independent means independent
We do not take referral fees from technology vendors. We do not have preferred implementation partners. We do not structure our recommendations around the consulting engagement that follows. When we tell you a platform is overpriced, underperforming, or poorly suited to the ASEAN operating environment, that assessment comes with no asterisks.
The region is not a single market
Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines — these are not interchangeable. Regulatory environments, infrastructure maturity, data sovereignty requirements, and procurement dynamics differ enormously across the region. Advice built on a global template misses most of what matters. We work from the region up, not from a global playbook down.

2MAGnify is a Singapore-incorporated technology advisory firm focused exclusively on the ASEAN region. We work with technology leaders in large corporations, financial institutions, and quasi-government organisations — the people who own the technology decisions that shape how the region's digital infrastructure actually gets built.
We are not a generalist consultancy that covers ASEAN as one of twenty markets. This is our entire focus.
We are early. We have no thirty-year client roster and no alumni network of former regulators to name-drop. What we have is deep regional experience, a clear point of view, and the independence that comes from building a firm without legacy relationships to protect.
